Gaétan Bobichon is a designer-maker, who plays with materials and ideas in order to find a new way of thinking and producing objects. He is interested in objects which could be seen at the boundary of technical production and aesthetic. According to him, the designer has to be engaged with society, by providing solutions and reflections for everyone to understand it. Dealing with material processes, social commitment or critical concepts, he questions the beauty, value, aesthetics and status of daily life objets. He likes to create a new sense according to materials and shapes that refers both to low and high cultural level.
He was born the 30th of March 1990 in Lyon (FR). He is currently working between Lyon (FR) and Grenoble (FR).
