I realized this research in the glass workshop of HEAR Strasbourg (with help from professional glass blowers). This project began with an initiation into the various techniques of glass-work to be able to create as many different shapes as possible using this material: cast glass, blown glass, pressed glass. After some experiments, I opted for the manufacturing of a single mold, allowing me to realize various samples each different from the others. My mold is drilled throughout and has metallic stalks passing through it at various levels, then glass is blown into this mold.

Tree unique pieces are available on sale with the Galerie Des Curiosités

This project blossomed around the notion of creative community to promote diversity. It positions itself as a fictitious and indefinite object, but also concrete in its functionality. Every citizen is encouraged to collect materials in order to achieve a kind of temporary solution that can be used or changed afterwards by the community. It becomes a unique piece depending on the context and its interaction with human’s actions. It could be an interpretation of the « Infinite furniture » of Alessandro Mendini.

Nowadays, our society develops new ways of selling that can be seen as the «sales period» or the most popular «Black Friday». These new selling strategies give a rise to new human behaviors. This project is an outfit for fashion addicts who need to get protected during a shopping session. This costume is composed of active accessories and more protecting elements that’s offer the owner’s achievement. The idea begun after the release fashion collection between Balmain and H&M, in November 2015. It has to be seen as a fictional outfit that propose a new purpose of fashion in contemporary society. Pet Lamps is a project based on the principle of Up-cycling. The purpose of this project is to transform a common everyday object into a functional product having a better attractive value. The question about values of objects is one of my main inspiration, furthermore the project promotes the making process by acting on the material itself. Pet is a series of single lamp, realized from plastic bottles molded by thermoforming technique in order to create a new shape. The wood base holds the plastic structure and the LED bulb. The next step is to build up a community, which shows the potential of up-cycling according to specific contexts in the world.

All the Pet Lamps are available on the sale, in red, dark blue and green.

In our daily life we tackle problems or obstacles in a very creative way, most of the time without even noticing. We don’t just follow the paths and patterns we are used to, we also make our own. A product will evolve when it is brought into the world, the fantasy and the resourcefulness of every individual resolves in other interpretations of the product. Personal background has a huge impact on the creative solutions of every individual. We wanted to celebrate the resourcefulness and create a platform for people to express and explore their own creativity.

This project has been achieved during my Erasmus semester in ArtEZ Institute of the Arts in Arnhem for the Sonsbeek park. The main idea is to propose a wood « Insect Hotel » in the park  with a second function of showing map information of it to the visitors. The Insect hotel is composed of 4 wood planks laser cut according to the map of the park, then they are set upside down to each others in order to make a kind of cocoon.

STST or « Short Term Solution Thinking » is a collective research based on ephemeral product consumption. We worked on the notion of efficient ephemerality in order to develop a « Manuscript-Object ».

This project shows a concrete garden chair at the various moments of its existence. It is presented in the form of sequences, by confronting gradually « Shape to Material » during three stages : from its initial aspect of total destruction. This project is a reflection on the theme of erosion as a disruptive element of the function of an object.
